Our journey began in 1980, when Steve Jones and his father, J.W., opened a small, four-bay repair shop in Benton with a simple but powerful vision: to provide reliable, high-quality trailer repair and service to hardworking individuals and businesses that keep America moving. Through dedication, craftsmanship, and a commitment to customer service, they built a strong reputation in the industry.

As demand for trailer service, sales, and parts grew, so did Total Trailers. In 1993, we expanded to St. Louis, allowing us to serve a broader customer base while maintaining the same level of personalized service that set us apart. Over the years, we continued to evolve, adapting to industry changes, expanding our service offerings, and investing in the latest technology and equipment.

In 2024, we reached another major milestone with the opening of our Nashville location, solidifying our presence in three key regions. Today, Total Trailers is a third-generation, family-owned business, led by Steve’s sons, Jason and Jonathan, who have grown the company into a trusted name in the trailer industry. With three locations, 80 dedicated employees, and 30 service bays, we have the experience and resources to serve everyone—from independent operators to large fleet owners.
